  • How customers think
  • Building great customer experiences using the latest techniques and technology
  • Developing visual designs that create a “wow” factor, have a beautiful esthetic, and are very intuitive to interact with
  • How to constantly iterate and improving the customer experience and business results


What You’ll be Doing

  • Acting as the lead designer of the customer experience including guided shopping, recommendation interfaces and enrollment
  • Working in close collaboration with the product development team, including developers, PMs, QA, and scrum masters, building great products together
  • Working in close collaboration with stakeholders taking them along the journey with you as you continuously demonstrate current and future states of the product
  • Acting as the champion and go-to person as to how our senior audience thinks and responds to things being presented online
  • Design solutions that both satisfy functional objectives, and delight customers, and are highly converting
  • Continuously monitor both quantitative and qualitative feedback and data regarding the products in order to continuously improve it


Job Requirements

  • 3 years of B2C experience working on a customer centric experience either in eCommerce or decision support
  • Experience in working with corporate brand standards as they apply to product design innovation
  • Experience working with agile teams and a reputation for being a “team player”
  • Reputation for being a “great communicator”
  • High level of skill, experience and proficiency in Figma including:
  • creating functional prototypes
  • generating micro animations within Figma
  • generating and applying system components
  • collaborating with front end developers to turn Figma designs easily into front end code
  • Experience with or similar platform a big plus.
  • Experience in insurance is a plus
  • Ability to transform business requirements and wireframes into working high-fidelity designs
  • Ability to lead design review sessions with business users
  • Strong attention to detail but with the ability to see the big picture as well
  • Experience understanding requirements and conceptualizing solutions
  • Ability to identify gaps in existing and proposed solutions
  • Ability to document functional designs for development teams
  • Knowledge of UX best practices for form and user flow design
  • Decision making ability (problem solving, priority setting, perseverance)
